Light vs Dark, Good Vs Evil. A constant battle. Even with all the bad that goes on in the world there is always that light that can be seen. With all the news stories that have been making the headlines lately, this photo is a reminder that amidst all the darkness, there is light.

I was fooling around with my camera today near my local pond and this was a concept i’ve wanted to try, taking a picture directly into the sun.
This was taken at Elora Quarry, a popular swimming spot on warmer days.
Well with it being such a nice day, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to go out with my family to St. Jacobs. Located in Elmira, Ontario, St Jacobs is a popular spot for tourism, since it is Mennonite country. With vendors and fresh food all around it is a great place to spend the day with your family.
It’s always going to be a good day, when you see this sign
Plenty of musicians scattered around the market
Fresh Honey Anyone?
Horses are just a one of the animals you can see here at the market
Many Cultures can be found amidst the busy crowds
Just an average day at the market, started out a bit gloomy
On the drive home, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get a shot of the only covered bridge left in Ontario (West Montrose Covered Bridge)
This years O-cup is once again sponsored by Tuf rack, they also are in charge of the organization of the events. The first race took place at Horseshoe Resort in Barrie and despite the wacky weather, riders stayed positive. Racers stayed flowy and fast through the rock sections and kept composure on the step down.
There is no photography or video content with this post, but I just wanted to talk a bit about what I hope to do this summer. Movies like Where The Trail Ends and From the Inside Out are what have inspired me to pursue video and photography. The shoots that these photographers and videographers achieve when working with mountain bikers gives me that motivation and try and full of a shot like they have.
So with that in mind, I have been talking to a group of local bikers through forums and we hope to meet up some time and showcase there talent and the local trails through mixed media (Photo & Video). I plan on building a cable cam to get some interesting shoots for the video portion and purchasing a wide angle lens to make some of the photos pop.
With that all said, I hope my next post will be photo’s from a local classic car show I plan on attending this weekend.
Till next time
