Now that I have graduated from my 2 year program of photo and video, its time to take things more seriously. Step one for me was creating a website and getting it up and running. I had heard of Wix from a couple of friends, and even through my school, so I gave it a look. Although Wix does offer 100’s of templates for you to choose from, I wanted a site that had a little of my own creative touch, so I went ahead and created my own template in photoshop. From there I transferred over the specific parts of the site over to Wix and now I present to you, Michael Schreuders Media. I’ll be purchasing the domain quite soon, so I get more support and rid of the Wix ads.

So I left Bowmanville for the weekend and settled down in the familiarities of my home in the small town of Rockton. Before I got home though, I couldn’t pass up the chance to visit one of my favourite waterfalls, Tiffany Falls. Realizing I forgot my battery charger in Bowmanville and with an almost dead battery, I had to work quickly. I knew even before I got there I wanted to attempt an HDR photo, something I want to work with more in the future, as well as some more long exposures of the water. With the path to the waterfall as icy as a skating rink, I had to take my time in order not to jeopardize my equipment. I hope you enjoy the product of my battle with the slippery slopes
